The turning of the foliage from green to gold, orange, purple and red as fall arrives in North America creates a fittingly colorful backdrop to our final 35th anniversary cruise, in the company of esteemed former Cruise Director Gary Hunter. Starting with an overnight stay in Québec City, there’s time to explore the cobbled streets of the old town in the shadow of Château Frontenac, a potent symbol of this city’s French heritage. Next, revel in the golden hues of the trees that grace Baie-Comeau and find out more about the region’s flora and fauna at the city’s Musée de la Nature. Québécois culture, including savoring traditional dishes, could theme your exploration of our third port of call, Gaspé. A day at sea follows before surrendering to the Scottish charms of Halifax. Then it’s onward to historic Boston for an overnight stay, before this memorable adventure ends in New York City.

Located less than 20 miles from Central Park, Bayonne is one of New Jersey's unsung heroes. Nestled alongside the Hudson River, it is a charming city with a rich industrial history, famed for its picturesque views of Manhattan and ample green spaces. Because of this, along with the above-par public school system and proximity to NYC, Bayonne attracts a lot of young families, and there are plenty of cafes, bookshops, sports facilities, walking paths, and waterfront areas for relaxation and leisure activities. The city has a plethora of historical landmarks, such as the Robbins Reef Lighthouse, which has guided ships through the harbor for over a century, and Bayonne Bridge, connecting to Staten Island, stands as an engineering marvel. While it may still be transitioning from its industrial past, Bayonne maintains a close-knit atmosphere, making it a unique and evolving urban enclave in the Garden State.
