Departing by motorized trolley, see the colonial district with its many authentic and restored historical buildings before traversing the world-famous Ten Mile Drive, famous for the rugged beauty of its spectacular coastline. Your journey begins as your tour guide describes the day when local ships were dispatched to rescue the victims of the ill-fated RMS Titanic. Next, proceed to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which houses a permanent Titanic exhibit. The Fortress of Louisbourg was originally settled in 1713. Between 1720 and 1740, defensive walls were constructed around what was then a thriving fishing town.
